January comes, and so does Macworld Expo! Hopefully everyone is attending the Expo at least a day or two. Once it’s all done, we get to gather at our meeting and make sense of it all. Come over on Jan 15, and we’ll compare notes about what was great, what wasn’t, and where the Mac industry will go from here.

Then, we look at Parallels! Len Walther, SVMUG member and Real Estate Agent, set up Parallels Desktop on his MacBook Pro, so he could run Windows programs and Mac programs. He’ll give us an overview of the software, its setup, and his experiences with using it.

We’ll also have our normal Q&A session. Have a question on a Mac-related thing? Problem with one of your programs or devices? We’ll see if the group can give you any useful info or solutions.

Meeting is in the Town Hall theatre, at 4 Infinite Loop on the Apple campus in Cupertino. See the Location page for maps and directions. Doors should be open around 6:30pm. Meeting runs from 7:00 to 9:30.
