Foothill’s Computers, Technology, & Information Systems Division debuts its new Mac OS X 10.5 IT Systems Administrator series in January 2009. Mac OS X 10.5 Support Essentials offered in winter quarter will be followed by Mac OS X 10.5 Server Support, Mac OS X 10.5 Directory Services, Mac OS X 10.5 Deployment, and Mac OS X 10.5 Advanced System Administration courses to complete the series.

These courses will prepare students to take the five corresponding Mac OS X 10.5 IT exams which upon successful completion grant the student the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) 10.5 certificate, the Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) 10.5 certificate, and finally the Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA) 10.5 certificate after passing all five.

This series is targeted at help desk specialists, technical coordinators, service technicians and others who support Mac OS X users in both business applications and networked computing such as classrooms and computer labs.
