802.1x client authenticaton
Submitted by jg535 on 2008, April 10 - 6:58am. Mac OS XHi,
First time poster.
Can any of you guys point me to some documentation (if it exists/ if it is possible) that can tell me how to 802.1x authenticate an OS X client which is added to Active directory?
I can authenticate users but I would like to be able to authenticate systems as well.

screen freezing
Submitted by suezq on 2006, June 22 - 1:24pm. Mac OS XWithin the last 6 months I purchased a refurbished iBook G3 and have had a lot of problems with it. The store where I bought it has fixed one problem after installing 2 new hard drives. My new problem is that when using Excel and Word 98 or 2001 (OSX) it always freezes up after a few minutes of activity. The tech at the store suggested I max out on the ram so I now have 640 mgs. but that still didn’t seem to stop the screen from freezing. Could it be that the G3 isn’t compatible with Office 2001, am I doing something incorr., or could it be a problem with the processor? I would love to stop going to the Certified Mac store to no avail. and spending more $$.
Java Swing - context menu
Submitted by samatha on 2006, April 11 - 10:41am. Mac OS XDid any one used context menu’s in mac? I am having issues with mac os. Here is the problem,
I have textfield and a pop up menu, i want to show the popup menu as i type in textfield. The problem is as soon as pop up is visible it is grabbing the focus, to type in textfield i have to use mouse to select it.
I am programatically grabbing the focus for textfield after it shows pop up menu. Still my textfield is not getting focus.
Does anyone know about this problem? If so could you please let me know how you fixed it.
Mac OS X Filename Limitation
Submitted by aakridge on 2006, January 11 - 2:56pm. Mac OS XDoes Mac OS X have a filename limitation? If so, what is it and where on Apple’s website is this limitation disclosed? I think both Windows XP and Solaris 10 accept 256 characters, right? I’m trying to understand the following discussion: http://www.codecomments.com/Tcl/message730273.html.
gDisk, just like Apple's iDisk
Submitted by dentist on 2005, December 26 - 8:05am. Mac OS XHere is a little application that allows users of Google’s GMail service to be used like Apple iDisk.
Linke: http://gdisk.sourceforge.net/
I have been using it for several months, and have had no problems.
Dave.
Maybe I missed it.
Submitted by Wildabeast on 2005, December 20 - 1:07pm. Mac OS XEver since Jobs’ speech from WWDC (I think), there hasn’t been any mention of Mac OS X “Leopard.” Might that be a surprise unveiled at Macworld SF, or has there been a hint of news that I missed? Perhaps it will pop up with the new Mactels?
