I work as an Art Director at Yahoo!, where I manage the Yahoo! corporate brand as well as design and produce marketing collateral. Before working at Yahoo!, I worked at the San Jose Mercury News as a graphic designer where I designed print ads for the newspaper. Prior to that I worked at a small local advertising agency. I began using Macs in 1987, learning desktop publishing on a Mac II running Adobe Illustrator and Aldus PageMaker.

At work I use a 1.6 GHz PowerMac G5 tower and a 1GHz G4 Powerbook. At home I use a 1GHz G4 iMac with a 250Gb LaCie external hard drive. I also have a (gasp!) 2.8 GHz Sony Vaio Windows PC that I mainly use for running the occasional Windows-only app that I sometimes need to use.

At work I use my Mac for designing and producing printed marketing collateral, web sites, digital photography, as well as browsing the web and for email. At home I use my Mac for digital photography, managing my music collection via iTunes, and for digital video.
